Love K-drama and K-pop? Now try K-food! Japchae is a flavour-packed, stir-fried glass noodle dish that's easy to make at home.

- Dangmyeon (glass noodles)
- Carrot, onion, mushrooms, and spinach
- Soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and corn syrup

Cook dangmyeon in boiling water until transparent. Drain and rinse with cold water to retain chewiness. Set aside.

Thinly slice carrots, onions, and mushrooms. Blanch spinach in hot water for 30 seconds, rinse with cold water, and squeeze out excess moisture.

Heat oil in a wok. Sauté onions and carrots until tender. Add mushrooms and cook until soft. Finally, toss in the spinach.

Combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and corn syrup in a bowl. Pour over the stir-fried veggies and mix well.

Add the cooked noodles to the wok. Stir-fry until the noodles absorb the sauce. Adjust the taste and ensure even coating.

Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions. Serve hot or cold, and enjoy your homemade Japchae.
