Craving a crispy dosa with a tangy twist? This easy tomato dosa is packed with flavour and perfect for breakfast. Plus, it requires no fermentation. Here is how to make it.

2 chopped tomatoes
1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup sooji
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
3/4 tsp salt
Water

2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
3-4 curry leaves
1-inch piece of ginger
1 tsp cumin seeds
Oil

Blend the chopped tomatoes with ginger, cumin seeds, and water for a smooth puree. This will give the dosa a tangy flavour and vibrant colour.

Mix rice flour, sooji, salt, red chilli powder, coriander, and curry leaves in a bowl. Add the tomato puree and enough water to create a smooth batter.

Heat a tawa and grease it lightly with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it in circles. Cook on medium heat until it turns crisp and golden brown.

Once cooked, remove the dosa from the pan and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar for a delicious and wholesome breakfast.
