All Mondays (Somwar) during Shravan month are considered highly auspicious for fasting. This year, the first Sawan Somwar Vrat falls on July 22, 2024.

Here are five delicious and nutritious foods and drinks you can consume in your first Sawan Somwar Vrat.

1. Sattu Drink

Sattu is flour made from roasted gram/chickpea. Combine sattu powder, sendha namak, sugar, lemon juice and water to make this drink.

2. Dry Fruits Ladoo

Make nutritious ladoos at home by combining dates with pistachios, almonds, cashews and walnuts. Use ghee to make the ladoos.
