1. Get The Right Utensil

Copper and brass pots are perfect for biryani. Ensure the pot you choose is heavy-bottomed and large enough to hold all the ingredients.

2. The Right Rice Variety

Long-grain basmati rice is the ideal rice variety for biryani. It doesn't break easily and has a pleasant aroma, perfect for biryani.

3. Use Ghee Wisely

Do not go overboard with ghee for topping the biryani as it might make everything soggy. Use ghee to line the pot before adding all layers.
