1. Betel Leaf Magic

To keep the batter from turning too sour, toss in a betel leaf with its stem right before sealing the container. This trick helps maintain the flavour.

2. Airtight is Right

After making your dosa batter, give it a good stir to knock out any air bubbles. Then, transfer it to an airtight container and pop it in the fridge.

3. Coconut Milk Twist

Before you stash away your dosa batter, mix in a little coconut milk. It not only prevents the batter from getting too tangy but also adds a flavour.

4. Zip Lock for the Win

For an easy storing hack, fill a zip lock bag with the dosa batter, squeeze out the air,  & seal it tight. Stick it in the fridge to keep it fresh.

5. Curry Leaves Trick

Add a sprig of curry leaves to the batter before storing it. This little trick not only extends the batter's shelf life but also enhances its flavour.
