How to Make Corn Spinach Puffs
1.
Preheat your oven to 200°C with a baking sheet with parchment paper. If you don’t have one, lightly grease the baking sheet.
2.
Take a bowl and add corn kernels, chopped spinach, chopped onions, chopped garlic, grated cheese, salt, pepper, dry herbs, and red chilli flakes. Mix until all the ingredients are combined well.
3.
Take a pastry sheet and roll it out on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry sheet into squares or rectangles, as per your preference.
4.
Take a spoonful of the corn and spinach mixture and place it onto the centre of each pastry square.
5.
Beat an egg and lightly brush the edges of the pastry squares with it. Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle shape, and then firmly press the edges with a fork to seal.
6.
Repeat the process until all the pastry puffs are made. Once done, gently place the pastry squares in the tray and sprinkle some sesame seeds on top to add extra flavour and texture.
7.
Bake the pastry puffs in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pastries are puffed up. Remove them from the tray once baked and they are ready to serve!
