Ingredients of Chhokka
- 250 Gram Potatoes (cubed), peeled
- 250 gram Pumpkin (cubed), peeled
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1/4 tsp Onion seeds
- 1/4 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 Red chillies (dried)
- 2 Green chillies (split)
- 1 tsp Ginger, shredded
- 150 ml Curd
- 1/4 tsp Coriander powder
- 4 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Sugar
- to taste Rock salt
How to Make Chhokka
1.
Shallow fry the potatoes and pumpkin in oil.

Remove from the pan.
3.
Add all the spices except coriander and cumin powder in the same pan.
4.
Cook for a few minutes and add the curd.
5.
Replace the vegetables into the pan.
6.
Add the sugar and seasoning. Cook until tender.
7.
Garnish with coriander and cumin powder.
