About Til Poli Recipe: A hearty, traditional Maharashtrian dish. Til poli or Gulaichi poli is a sweet chapati or flatbread made using roasted til/sesame seeds, jaggery and whole wheat flour along with maida and is typically prepared during the festival of Makar Sankranti. A quick and easy recipe made with a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients of Til Poli
- 2 sesame seeds
- 2 1/2 jaggery, grated
- 1 maida
- 1 wheat flour
- 2 oil/ghee
How to Make Til Poli
1.
Roast the sesame seeds and grind. Mix the jaggery and powdered sesame adding ghee.

Knead dough mixing maida, wheat flour, salt and 2 teaspoon of oil.
3.
Make small balls and roll into a round shape of just three-inch diameter.
4.
Fill a bit of the mixture of sesame and jaggery in the rolled out dough.
5.
Roll the ball into a round flat shape like a chapatti.
6.
Roast it with some ghee on a tawa and serve.
