Ingredients of Chicken Bhindi

  • 4 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 5-6 Whole Red Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 kg Boneless chicken
  • 2 Tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 kg Bhindi
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup Yoghurt

How to Make Chicken Bhindi

In a wok heat oil, add chopped onions and saute.

Add cumin seeds, red whole chili, curry leaves, and stir. Add ginger garlic paste and saute.

Then add chicken and mix. Add chopped tomatoes and mix well. Cook for 3 -4 minutes. Set aside for later use.

In a separate sauce pan, heat oil and saute okras.

Then add salt, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder and mix well.

Add the cooked chicken in the okras and stir.
7.
Add yogurt, water and mix. Let it simmer for 08 to 10 minutes.
8.
Garnish with coriander.
