Ingredients of One Pot Butter Chicken

  • 6-7 Chicken pieces
  • For marination:
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • For gravy:
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1.5 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp Cream
  • to taste Salt

How to Make One Pot Butter Chicken

Heat some oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Cook marinated chicken chunks until crisp.

Remove the chicken and set it aside. Mix in the bay leaf and cloves.

Then, add the chopped onions and heat until they are transparent.

Mix in the ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, red chilli powder, kasuri methi, pepper, and garam masala.

Continue to cook until the oil separates from the gravy.

Now pour in some water and add the chicken pieces.
7.
Allow it to simmer. Serve with a dollop of cream on top.
