Ingredients of Guar ki Phali
- 1/2 kg guar ki phali (cluster beans)
- 2 Tbsp clarified butter
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 cup yoghurt
How to Make Guar ki Phali
1.
Wash and string the beans.

Cut into halves or thirds. Heat the clarified butter in a kadahi; add asafoetida and cumin seeds.

When the seeds splutter, add the beans and saute till they look a bit glossy. Add coriander powder, chilli powder and salt.

Cook uncovered over low heat till tender. Mix the garam masala into the yoghurt and add to the beans.
5.
Saute for 2-3 minutes and serve.
