Ingredients of Kunafa Prawns

  • 10 prawns
  • 1 tbsp peri-peri seasoning
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 50 gms parsley
  • 100 gms flour
  • 1 egg
  • 150 gms kunafa shreds
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil, for frying

How to Make Kunafa Prawns

Start by deveining the prawns and washing them. Post which pat dry the prawns and let them rest.

Marinate the prawns in lemon juice, mustard paste, parsley, peri-peri seasoning. Add maida, egg and some water to create a slurry.

Dip the marinated prawns in the slurry. Post which roll over the kunafa shreds to coat the prawn completely.

The next step is to deep fry the prawns until they are golden brown. Serve alongside any choice of dip.
