Ingredients of Matar Ka Halwa

  • 1 Cup Green Peas
  • 2 tbsp Khoya
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 7-8 Cashew Nuts
  • 7-8 Almonds
  • 7-8 Raisins
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 4 tbsp Ghee

How to Make Matar Ka Halwa

Slightly steam matar and then make a coarse paste out of it.

In a pan add ghee and sauté cashew and almonds. Remove once lightly golden.

In the same pan add the matar paste and cook for some time.

Once it looks like the matar has changed a little colour, add sugar and mix well.

Now add khoya and cardamom powder. Make sure the khoya has been well incorporated in the halwa.
6.
Add the nuts and raisins and mix for 2-3 minutes
7.
Take off the heat and serve hot.
