If you have heard of the famed Anda ghotala and loved it, well it’s time to rejoice because here is a vegetarian version of the creamy and rich recipe. It is made by adding heaps of shredded paneer to a thick red gravy made with tomatoes, onions, and masalas.

Ingredients of Paneer Ghotala

  • 1 Cup Shredded paneer
  • 1 cup Chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1/2 cup Chopped capsicum
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 1 tsp Jeera
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Dhaniya powder
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi
  • Salt according to taste
  • Chopped coriander for garnishing

How to Make Paneer Ghotala

In a pan heat some oil and add jeera, onions and tomato puree and cook until mixed well.

Now add the dry masala like red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, haldi powder and also salt.

Mix everything well together and add capsicum.

Add water according to your preferred consistency.
5.
Add cream and butter ad mix them well.
6.
Add shredded paneer and cook for another minute or so.
7.
Take off the heat and garnish with fresh coriander.
