  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Haldi Powder
  • 1 tsp Kasoori Methi
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Ring Gatte Ki Sabji

1.
In a bowl, mix besan, ajwain, half of the red chilli powder, half of the saunf, half of the hing, haldi powder, and salt to taste and some ghee.
2.
Mix until everything has come together, and the mixture holds shape.
3.
Now add curd to this in batches and knead soft dough.
4.
Take tiny balls out of the dough and roll them into thin lines.
5.
Now connect this line and make one medium sized ring. Make all the rings in the same way.
6.
In a pot of boiling water, add these rings in batches, don’t over crowd the pot.
7.
Remove the rings once they start to float on the surface of the water after around 8-10 mins.
8.
Let the gatte ke rings cool down until you make the masala.
9.
In a pan heat oil, add remaining saunf, hing and the bay leaf.
10.
Now add the tomato puree and other remaining dry masalas.
11.
Once this masala is cooked well and starts leaving oil on the sides, add the remaining curd and mix well.
12.
Now add the gatte ki rings, kasuri methi, garam masala and lightly stir everything together.
13.
Garnish with coriander and serve hot with rice or roti.
