- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
How to Make Teriyaki Chicken Wings
1.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
2.
Place the chicken wings in a large bowl. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken wings, ensuring they are wellcoated.
3.
Toss the chicken wings until they are evenly coated in the sauce. Let the chicken wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
4.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
5.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, or until the chicken wings are cooked through and golden brown.
6.
Once the chicken wings are cooked, transfer them to a serving platter. If desired, you can brush the cooked chicken wings with additional teriyaki sauce for extra flavour.
7.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
