Ingredients of Baked Bread Roll

  • Brown bread slices
  • 3 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup mixed veggies (carrots, peas, bell peppers), finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped

How to Make Baked Bread Roll

In a pan, saute the ginger-garlic paste until fragrant.

Add the chopped veggies and cook until they're slightly tender.

Stir in the mashed potatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Toss in the fresh coriander leaves and give it a final stir. Remove from heat.

With a rolling pin, flatten the bread slices. Place the mixture in the centre and close the ends after tapping some water on the edges.

Carefully seal the edges by dabbing some water on them and shape into a roll.

Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Brush the rolls with a little olive oil for a golden finish.
9.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crisp.
