Ingredients of Golden Paneer Fry

  • 200 gms paneer
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup corn flour
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • salt as required
  • Oil for deep frying

How to Make Golden Paneer Fry

Cut the paneer into cubes or long fingers. Marinate them in a mixture of ginger garlic paste, chilli powder and salt for 5 minutes.

In a bowl, prepare a slurry by combining cornflour, milk, garam masala, pepper, salt and water as required. Mix well to ensure no lumps.

Dip the paneer pieces into this slurry, coat them in breadcrumbs and deep-fry until golden and crisp.

Serve the fried paneer hot with ketchup, hari chutney, schezwan sauce or dip of choice.
