Let's confess! Cake decoration is no less than an art. It requires an equal amount of dedication and skill that one needs to bake a perfectly spongy and delicious cake. From 3D rice paper flowers to hyper-realistic ones, the internet brings forth eccentric decorating trends. Now, we have come across the Persian-style cake decoration. How does it look? Similar to world-famous Persian carpets. Yes, you read that right. Anita Riyazi, a cake decorator, dropped a video of herself preparing a double-layered sweet treat on Instagram. Anita filled the cake with pistachio and raspberry flavour icing. Not only this, but she also topped it with chopped dry fruits. After placing both layers on top of each other, she gave a closer glance at her decorating skills.

We can see her majorly using bright blue and red hue shiny frosting. Anita began with white frosting to border the cake. She used a unique dotted technique to fill in the colours, making it appear as if its embroidered. After filling the outer border with red, she added blue dots in the middle with subtle floral designs. The text on the video reads, “POV: When you are a Persian cake decorator.” Sharing the video, Anita wrote, “Here you go, a piece of carpet with pistachio and raspberry flavours. This cake made me look all over the place for days but I love it and miss it…it was a really delicious cake.”
Countless users lauded Anita Riyazi's decorating skills. Many were quick to guess it was in a rug style. A comment read, “It looks like a rug. It's beautiful, don't get me wrong but the pattern looks like a rug.”
Another read, “Art and artist,” with heart-eye emoticons.
A few praised the flavour, as one wrote, “Persian cakes are so good pistachio rose at my local bakery is so good”
Some claimed that they would pay any amount to order that cake, as a user wrote, “Girl?!??!? I'd pay the world for that cake.”
Another commented, “Don't eat that!!!!!! It's too beautiful!”
