Ingredients of Homemade Sriracha Sauce
- 1 Kg Red jalapeno peppers
- 1/2 kg Red serrano peppers
- 1/2 cups Water
- 4-6 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
How to Make Homemade Sriracha Sauce

Blend the peppers, brown sugar, salt, garlic and water together in a blender. Do this 3-4 times until its blended well.

Pour the puree into a large glass jar and cover it with plastic wrap. Once done, keep it in a cool and dark place for 4-5 days.

You have to stir the puree once a day. Make sure to rewrap the jar after stirring.

Within some days the mixture will bubble and start with its fermentation process.

Now add the fermented mixture into the blender and add vinegar in it. Blend it well and strain the mixture in a fine mesh strainer and separate the remaining pulp.

Transfer it into a pan and boil it for 10-15 minutes over medium heat.

Keep stirring the sauce until it’s a little thick

Let sauce cool. The store it into an air tight container and keep it in the refrigerator.
