Ingredients of Hyderabadi Bagara Khana (Bagara Rice)
- 1 bowl basmati rice
- 4-5 pieces each Cinnamon, cloves and cardamom
- 1 tsp shahi jeera (Caraway seeds)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 4-5 green chilli, slited
- 2 tsp mint and coriander leaves , finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2-3 tbsp ghee
- 5-6 cups water
How to Make Hyderabadi Bagara Khana (Bagara Rice)

Rinse the rice and soak in water.

Heat a handi and add ghee in it.
3.
Add the whole spices and let them splutter.
4.
Add onion and fry till it turns translucent in colour.
5.
Add ginger-garlic paste and fry everything together.
6.
Add green chillies, mint and coriander leaves and cook everything together.
7.
Now add the rice, salt and garam masala and fry for half a minute.
8.
Now add water and cook on high flame until the water soaks.
9.
Once done, put it on dum for 30-40 minutes.
10.
Serve hot.
