Ingredients of Rice Flour Mathri

  • ½ cup Moong Dal
  • 2 tablespoon Chana Dal
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 3 Green chillies, chopped
  • 2 cups Rice flour
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tsp Ajwain
  • 2 tsp Jeera
  • A pinch of Baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Ghee
  • Water

How to Make Rice Flour Mathri

Wash and rinse chana dal and moong dal. Soak the dals for 6-7 hours.

Take a blender jar and add chopped onions, green chillies, and soaked dal in it. Blend until it makes a smooth paste.

In a bowl, take rice flour and add the dal mixture along with salt, ajwain, jeera, and baking soda.

In a tempering pan, heat some ghee and add this to the rice flour bowl. Mix the ingredients well and form a dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Make small dough balls from the mathri dough and flatten it out using a rolling pin. Place them on a baking tray.

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees for 10 minutes. Post that, place the baking tray inside the oven and bake it for 20 minutes until nice and crisp.
7.
Let it cool down and enjoy!
