Ingredients of Kabuli Chana Chili
- 1 Cup Soaked and boiled chana
- 1 Large Onion diced
- 1 Medium capsicum diced
- 2-4 Green chillies slit
- 1 tbsp Chopped ginger garlic
- Handful of spring onions
- 1 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
- 1 tbsp Chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp Black pepper powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1-2 tbsp Cornflour
- Salt according to taste
How to Make Kabuli Chana Chili

In a bowl, take the soaked and boiled chana, add a pinch of salt, half of the black pepper powder, red chilli powder and enough corn flour to coat every single chana properly. Now mix properly.

In a pan heat some oil and fry the cornflour coated chana until they are slightly golden. Remove in a plate and keep side.

In the same pan, reduce the amount of oil then add ginger garlic, onion, and capsicum and cook until they are slightly soft but not all the way mushy.

Now add all the sauces and mix well. Add the remaining dry spices and let it cook properly.

You can sprinkle a little water if the masala is burning or is too thick.

Now add the fried chana and mix well until every piece is coated with the masala.

Take off the heat, garnish with spring onions and coriander, and enjoy.
