Ingredients of Kilanji

  • For the Rice Mix:
  • 200 grams rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • For the Preparation:
  • 2 tsp oil
  • For the Banana Accompaniment:
  • Banana slices to taste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup coconut milk

How to Make Kilanji

1.
Add banana slices & sugar to coconut milk to prepare the accompaniment.

Grind rice with eggs and water to a fine milky mix.
3.
Apply a thin layer of oil in a pan.
4.
Pour 1/4 cup of the mix in the pan and immediately distribute it equally all around the pan.
5.
Cook for 5 minutes on a low flame.
6.
Carefully remove the cooked layer of the mix from the pan and serve hot with the accompaniment.
