Ingredients of Tuna with Baby Spinach and Avocado
- For seared tuna:
- 2 fillets Tuna (sashimi grade)
- 1 tbsp White sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Black sesame seeds
- Sesame oil
- Rosemary
- Olive oil
- For baby spinach with avocado:
- 2 Red chillies
- Olive oil
- 1 Avocado
- Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp Groundnut oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin seeds
- Handful Baby spinach
How to Make Tuna with Baby Spinach and Avocado
For seared tuna:
1.
Rub the tuna with black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds and rosemary.

Wrap the tuna in a cling film and refrigerate for 5-10 minutes.

Remove the cling film and sear the tuna on each side in some olive oil.
4.
To Serve: Serve with baby spinach with avocado.
For baby spinach with avocado:
1.
Prick the red chillies, rub olive oil and roast them.
2.
When the skin of chillies is charred, put them in cold water. Remove the skin and seeds.
3.
Cut the chillies in small pieces.
4.
For dressing add extra virgin olive oil, groundnut oil, salt, lemon juice and the chillies in a bowl.
5.
Toss the baby spinach and scooped flesh of avocado. Add the chilli dressing.
6.
To Serve: Garnish with pumpkin seeds.
