Ingredients of Street Style Paneer Roll

  • For marinade:
  • 1 tbsp Dahi
  • 1 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 Garlic Clove (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Kasoori Methi
  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 cup Paneer Cubes
  • For filling:
  • 1/2 cup Red Bell Pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Green Bell Pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup Medium Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • For kathi roll:
  • 4 Parathas (cooked)
  • 1/2 cup Pudina Chutney
  • to taste Chaat Masala
  • 1 Egg (whisked)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Red Chilli Powder

How to Make Street Style Paneer Roll

For the marinade:Take a bowl and add all the marinade ingredients in it. Add paneer cubes. Mix well. Once done, refrigerate for around 8-10 minutes.

Next, toss onion, red chilli powder, lime juice and salt and set aside for later.

For the filling:Heat some oil in a pan on medium heat. Add onions and peppers. Saute well.

Add the marinated paneer mixture and mix well. Saute and let it cook or until the paneer becomes golden brown.

For the roll:On a flat pan, heat the roti or paratha with a few drops of oil. Spread the egg mixture on top of it and let it cook for sometime.

Now, spread the pudina chutney, place the marinated paneer cubes and top it with pickled onions. Sprinkle some chaat masala and make a roll.
7.
Slice it in half and serve with ketchup or chutney. Street style paneer roll is ready!
