Ingredients of Oatmeal Poha With Dry Nuts
- 1 Cup oat meal
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup kabuli chana, boiled
- Carrot (diced)
- 50 gms potato (diced)
- 3 Bell pepper (diced)
- 2 tbsp peanuts, roasted
- 2-3 gram mustard seeds
- 10 gms curry leaves
- Red chilli
- coriander, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- to taste salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- for garnishing pomegranate pearls
How to Make Oatmeal Poha With Dry Nuts

Steam all the vegetables and keep aside.

Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan or a wok. Add the mustard seeds and allow it to crackle then add curry leaves and whole red chilli. Now add onions and green chillies and sauté over medium heat till light brown in colour.

Once the onions are tender, add the tomatoes, oats, turmeric powder, kitchen king, steamed vegetables, and peanuts, boiled kabooli chana, roasted peanuts, salt and sugar.

Stir the ingredients in the pan gently to combine and until all the ingredients come together.

Turn the heat to low flame and allow the vegetable poha to cook in the steam along with the vegetables. This will take about 3 to 4 minutes.

At this stage turn off the heat and stir in the juice from one lemon and add the coriander leaves. Check the salt and seasonings and adjust to suit your taste and garnish with pomegranate pearls.
