Sangri are beans from a small to medium size tree found in the streets of Rajasthan. They're prepared in buttermilk along with a host of Indian spices to make a unique and healthy dish.

Ingredients of Sangri Kanda

  • 350 gm dry sangri
  • 150 gm green onion
  • 5 gm red chilli powder
  • 20 gm coriander powder
  • 5 gm whole red chillies
  • 20 gm amchoor powder
  • 50 gm oil
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • 500 ml buttermilk

How to Make Sangri Kanda

1.
Put the sangri and buttermilk to boil.

Heat oil in a kadahi and add the asafoetida and chopped green onions. Cook well.
3.
Add the dry masalas.
4.
Now add the sangri to the above mixture and cook well.
5.
Garnish with chopped coriander, tomatoes and ginger.
