This royal dish is prepared using guchchi, cooked in ghee and bathed in a miscellany of spices and tomatoes.

Ingredients of Shahi Guchchi
- 250 gm khoya- crumbled
- 2 Tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 cup tomato- freshly pureed
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 100 gm guchchi- soaked and rinsed well
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Coriander for garnishing
How to Make Shahi Guchchi

1. Rinse guchchis well to remove grit.

2. Squeeze well to remove extra water.
3.
3. Heat ghee and add cumin seeds.
4.
4. When seeds splutter, add tomato and ginger and saute till the fat separates.
5.
5. Add guchchis and sauté for 3-4 minutes.

6. Then add salt, chilli powder, turmeric and cook till tender.
7.
7. Add khoya and cook till well mixed.

8. Serve garnished with the garam masala and coriander.
