Tucked in the lanes of Delhi's bustling Khan Market, Andrea's Bar and Brasserie has impressed gourmands with its stellar range of dishes from across the world, attention to detail and tasteful interior. The quaint brasserie has come up with a new sushi menu. With additions like monster sushi, rainbow sushi and caterpillar sushi, the diverse menu is sure to please patrons who are willing to explore. Crafted by Chef Mohit Jaggi, the Japanese-inspired menu also includes some savoury appetizers like grilled sweet corn, tuna tataki (seared tuna, avocado, onions, with ponzu dressing), and tori negima (grilled chicken skewers with teriyaki glaze).

We sampled their monster sushi. True to its name, the enormously big sushi with some guacamole carefully perched above it, is a treat. The hearty and wholesome sushi is immaculately balanced and bold. Who would have thought a bit of Mexican guacamole would sit so well with the Japanese marvel! But the combination works and how! Next, we tried their rainbow maki. Rolled with the goodness of avocado, mango, beetroot, spinach, cucumber, carrot and cream cheese, rainbow maki is a must-try for vegetarians. The California roll is ideal for prawn lovers; the interplay of flavours and texture in this sushi makes an impressive statement. Made with crab stick, prawns, avocado and tobiko, the sushi is a blend of all things nice and nutritious. Their caterpillar sushi can help take your Instagram game a notch higher too. The vibrant treat looks like a cute light-green caterpillar on your plate. We loved the slightly tangy overtones of the delicacy.

In addition to their sushi menu, we also tried some of Andrea's signature dishes like the Italian pepperoni pizza. Cheesy and loaded, this thin-crust pizza is an overload of decadence. Those who are looking for something relatively guilt-free can try their rosemary grilled chicken. The rosemary-marinated grilled chicken is served with baby potatoes, broccoli and au jus. For desserts, we had their tiramisu-inspired cremino. Amaretto soaked in coffee with layers of Bavarian mascarpone and cacao; the exquisite dessert impresses on all counts. If you call yourself a fan of coffee or cheese, you have to save room for this scrumptious finale.
