Ingredients of Chana Chaat

  • 50 gm chickpeas
  • 50 gm dark brown peas
  • 1/2 tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 potato, boiled & chopped
  • 50 gm green peas, boiled
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 2 garlic cloves, fried
  • Few slices of chicken (optional)
  • 1 tsp mint chutney
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate
  • 2 tsp sesame
  • 1 lime for lemon juice
  • 2 tsp tamarind extract
  • 1 spring onion, chopped

How to Make Chana Chaat

Take a large bowl, add chickpeas, dark brown peas.

Finely chop some tomatoes, onions, boiled potatoes and add it in a bowl.

Add some green chillies. Then add boiled peas to the mixture.

Add salt for taste, red chilli powder and chaat masala.
5.
Add garlic cloves, pomegranates, sesame seeds, lemon juice, mint chutney and tamarind extract.
6.
Mix the mixture well and serve chilled.
