Aloo Paneer Chaat Recipe: Satisfy your chaat cravings with this spicy aloo paneer chaat. In this flavourful dish, potatoes, paneer and veggies are mixed with chaat masala as well as two types of chutneys. Peanuts and sev are used to lend it extra crunch. Enjoy this chaat as a wholesome evening snack.

Ingredients of Aloo Paneer Chaat

  • 200 gms paneer, cubed and stir-fried
  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and cubed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp roasted peanuts, crushed
  • 1/2 cup sev (optional)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chaat masala
  • Salt to taste
  • For the green chutney:
  • 1 cup mint leaves
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 6-8 green chillies
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1-inch ginger
  • For the sweet chutney:
  • 1/2 cup tamarind, tightly packed
  • 1/2 cup dates, deseeded
  • 1/2 cup jaggery

How to Make Aloo Paneer Chaat

To make the green chutney, blend all the ingredients listed above to get a smooth paste. Store in a jar and keep aside.

Similarly, blend the 3 ingredients of the sweet chutney along with 1 cup of water. Set aside in another jar.

Stir-fry the paneer pieces and keep them ready.

In a large bowl, combine the paneer, chopped veggies, coriander leaves, peanuts, chaat masala and lemon juice.

To this mixture, add 4 tbsp of sweet chutney and 2 tbsp of green chutney (Or adjust the quantity according to taste). Mix well.
6.
Garnish with sev and serve immediately.
