Chicken masala chop is made by cooking chicken chunks in a thick gravy made with loads of onions and spices.

Ingredients of Chicken Masala Chops

  • 500 gms Chicken chunks
  • 2-3 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 2-3 Green Chillies
  • 1/2 cup Chopped coriander
  • 1 large Lemon
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Haldi powder
  • Salt as required

How to Make Chicken Masala Chops

In a pan heat ghee, add the onions and cook until they brown a little.

Add ginger garlic paste and cook until the raw smell is gone.

Now add the dry spices, red chilli powder, haldi, garam masala, salt and mix well.

You can increase or decrease the red chilli powder according to your preference, but usually the dish is spicy.

Mix all the masalas well and now add the chicken.

Keep stirring in high heat for a little while. Once everything is mixed well, cover with a lid and cook on a low flame for 30 minutes.
7.
After 30 mins, check if the chicken is cooked, if yes then turn off the heat.
8.
No add lemon juice and fresh coriander and serve hot.
