Homemade Chilli Flakes Recipe: Chilli flakes is a spice that can be used in number of dishes- also you can sprinkle it on top of pizza, pasta and noodles. You can easily make it at home.

Ingredients of Homemade Chilli Flakes

  • 100 gms whole dry red chillies

How to Make Homemade Chilli Flakes

Clean and dry the red chilies thoroughly. Remove its stems and transfer them to a pan set on a low-medium flame.

Dry roast them for around 4 to 5 minutes, or until they release an aroma. Once done, switch off the flame and allow them to cool.

Transfer the roasted chilies to a mixer grinder and grind for a few seconds. Make sure not to grind too much, as we don’t want to form a powder.
4.
Transfer the mixture to an air-tight container and use it when needed. Homemade chilli flakes are ready!
