Madurai Kari Dosa is basically a 3-layered dosa- first layer is plain dosa, second layer is made up of an egg omelette and the top layer is made up of minced meat (mutton ka keema).

Ingredients of Madurai Kari Dosa

  • Dosa Batter
  • 2 Eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • Oil
  • To Garnish Coriander Leaves
  • For Stuffing:
  • 200 gram Mutton Keema
  • 2 tbsp Oil/Ghee
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 1-2 Green Chillies
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • 1 Tomato (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder

How to Make Madurai Kari Dosa

To Prepare Keema

Heat oil in a cooker, add onions, green chillies, curry leaves and salt according to taste. Saute for 2-3 minutes.

Once done, add ginger garlic paste along with dry ingredients. Mix everything well and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.

Then, add minced meat (keema) and saute for 5 mins again.

Close the cooker with lid and wait until 2-3 whistles. Once done, open the cooker and simmer the keema again for 3-4 minutes.

Now, break 2 eggs in a bowl and add seasoning like salt and pepper. Whisk it properly.

Heat a dosa pan, spread dosa batter in a circular motion then pour egg mix over it, drizzle oil over it and top it with prepared keema and sprinkle some coriander leaves.
7.
Flip over and cook again for 2-3 minutes and it's done. Serve and enjoy!
