Ingredients of Chicken Dosa

  • Dosa batter
  • For chicken:
  • 200 gms minced chicken
  • 2 tsp curry leaves
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 Green chilly (slit)
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • Oil (as needed)
  • to taste salt

How to Make Chicken Dosa

  • 1.Prepare chicken stuffing:
  • 2.Heat oil in a pressure cooked and saute curry leaves, onions and green chilies for about 5 minutes. Let the onion turn brown.
  • 3.Now add ginger-garlic paste and tomato puree. Mix well.
  • 4.Add in the masalas, coriander leaves and salt. Mix well.
  • 5.Now along with 1/2 cup water, add chicken mince. Pressure cook for about 5 minutes.
  • 6.Once done, make sure the chicken mince is dry. Tranfer ina bowl and keep aside.
  • Prepare dosa:
  • 1.Heat a griddle and drop a ladle of runny dosa batter on it. Spread it evenly in a circular motion.
  • 2.Place about 2 tbsp of chicken mix on it, spread and add ghee to it.
  • 3.Cover and cook for about 4-5 minutes until it is crisp.
  • 4.Serve hot.
