Ingredients of Restaurant-Style Dragon Chicken
- For the marinade:
- 350 gram Chicken breast strips
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Rice flour
- 1 tbsp Maida
- For Stir Fry:
- 1 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp Red chilli sauce
- 1 Medium onion (cut into chunks)
- 1 Medium red capsicum (cut into chunks)
- 1/4 cup Cashew nuts
- 1/2 tsp Vinegar
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Tomato ketchup
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp Corn flour
- 1/4 cup Water
- Medium green capsicum (cut into chunks)
- Spring onions (for garnishing)
How to Make Restaurant-Style Dragon Chicken
1.
For the marinade:Add all the ingredients into a bowl. Mix well and set aside. Make sure there are no lumps.

Heat oil in a pan, for shallow frying the marinated chicken strips.

Now, add one chicken strip at a time and allow them to fry on medium heat until golden brown.

For the stir fry:Heat oil in a wok on high heat. Add garlic and red chilli paste. Fry on high heat for 1-2 mins.

Add onion, capsicum and sautee well.

Add vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup and salt. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, combine corn flour and water. Add it to the wok. Cook until the sauce thickens.

Add fried chicken strips and toss to combine. Top it with spring onions and cashews. Serve hot and enjoy!
