As the name suggests, bhindi ke sabzi meets chicken curry to give us this masaledaar bhindi chicken.

This lip-smacking dish makes for the ideal mid-week indulgence. With spices like garam masala, ginger-garlic paste and a hint of yoghurt, this recipe offers an even balance of flavours making it not too spicy, but delicious. You can pair this sabzi with roti, paratha or even decadent breads like naan and kulcha. This shall also fit well with the dal chawal combination. 

Chicken Bhindi Recipe: How To Make Bhindi Chicken At Home 

To make this chicken bhindi, you'll need to cook the chicken separately, then prepare the bhindi and then combine the two together.

Heat oil in a wok and saute onions, cumin seeds, whole red chillies and curry leaves. Once the seeds start crackling, add ginger-garlic paste and fry the spices. Add the diced chicken and the tomatoes. Mix well and cook the chicken for 5-10 minutes, or till it is completely cooked. Set this aside.

Heat oil in another pan and saute bhindi. Season it with salt, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, and red chilli powder and mix well. Now add the cooked chicken and stir it till the spices of the okra are soaked in the chicken. Pour a little bit of yoghurt and water in to give the chicken a creamy texture. The chicken bhindi is ready!
