Actress Huma Qureshi would be ringing in her 32nd birthday tomorrow. Huma became a national sensation with her very first film "Gangs of Wasseypur" itself. Her sensitive portrayal of Mohsina won immense acclaim both home and abroad and even earned her nominations across all major awards shows of the country. She followed it up with power-packed performances in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, Ek Thi Daayan, Dedh Ishqiya and Jolly LLB 2. In addition to being a credible movie star, Huma is also one of the most loved youth icons. She has been associated with many philanthropic causes; she has raised voice against body shaming, objectification of women and discrimination against LGBT community.

Huma's previous birthday was loaded with cakes and healthy indulgences. "Thank for all the love I cut these 5 cakes to bring in my bday.. the next day one fab healthy quinoa cake was sent by my new and improved @guneet_amarpreet_kaur one by my staff (Zubair and Rizvi) , one baked by @poojadhingra one sent my Bua from Bangalore and one got by @nautankichaiti.. so by the end of it I had to cut 11 cakes !!! And I wanted to keep it healthy and low profile this year hahahaha thanks guys for all the sugar and spice and everything nice," she captioned the image. We hope this birthday is no different Huma.

Eggs, avocado and gluten-free bread; Huma's breakfast spread is all things nutritious and nice.

Previous year, Huma observed a "#28daycleanse", wherein she followed a strict, healthy and clean diet for 28 days. She also gave internet a sneak peek into it with all the details. The cleanse made her feel happier and lighter, and also made her feel better overall.

This post from the 27th day of #28daycleanse is a treasure trove of proteins and vital antioxidants.

"No short cuts no fads just pure clean eating along with proper training," she revealed her fitness mantra through the caption. In the image, you can see chicken sweet potato and peas and methi subzi, fresh cut melons, omelette, egg bhutto with salad and bhindi (okra).

The day 26th of #28daycleanse comprised eggs and avocado, chicken zucchini and chickpea and chicken quinoa sweet potato salad. There, we saw you slurping!  

Wondering what all is there in this colourful collage? This is what the 25th day of #28daycleanse. In the image, there is hot water with Himalayan salt, ginger water with lemon, gluten free granola with almonds , mango and dry berries, green juice (kale spinach broccoli apple lemon and basil), tofu and soya salad with greens and sprouts, salad with chickpea and palak panner cooked without any oil.

Would you believe that Huma did not even taste a thing in this mighty feast curated by Farah khan! Now that is some resolve!

Quinoa chia mango and almonds, baked eggs with greens and sweet potato, hummus with beetroot and chicken mince and mixed greens and tofu salad made it to the 22nd day of her much-acclaimed detox plan.

Overnight oats soaked in turmeric and walnut and almond milk, egg omelette with avocado and black rice, mango, stir-fry broccoli and greens with cashew and chicken made it to the 21st day of Huma's detox diet. Is anyone taking notes here?

Huma did not even let her packed itinerary and outdoor schedules come in the way of her detox diet. She had to make do with whatever was available in the hotel buffet and this is what she had on the 20th day of the #28daycleanse. We can see eggs and oats with walnuts and almonds, tuna salad, gluten-free bread and hummus, chicken with cashew stir fry and red onion salad.

Think pizza and you instantly picture all things decadent and greasy. But that is not the case with Huma. She knows how to give a healthy spin to her food without compromising on taste. This is her homemade pizza made with all things natural and healthy.
