What is it, you ask? Barbecue-seasoned ice cubes. Yes, you read that right. A recent video making waves on Instagram shows how a street-side vendor is preparing and serving this unique dish. And, of course, just like us, people are shocked to see this unconventional creation.

In the video, we can see a large steel utensil filled with ice cubes placed right next to a barbecue grill. To make Barbecue-seasoned ice cubes, the vendor takes some ice cubes and places them on top of the grill. Then, on top of those ice cubes, he brushes some seasoning oil, followed by a generous sprinkle of chilli flakes. After that, some sesame seeds are sprinkled, and what seems like ketchup is put on top. Lastly, the dish is garnished with spring onions and served on a paper plate.
