A wedding is one of the key moments of a couple's life journey. To make this occasion memorable, couples plan everything about their ceremony to the very last detail. Right from the décor to the guest list, wedding couture and even the food - there is so much organising to make the couple's day perfect. Wedding cakes too are central to the marital celebrations. Western weddings usually feature a two or three-tier cake that is white in colour and decorated with flowers and other ornaments. However, in a recent viral video, a wedding cake did not get the treatment it deserved. A groom was caught on camera smearing the wedding cake on his new wife's face, and the internet was least impressed with the video.

The video was shared on YouTube by Viral Hog, where it received over 317k views. The incident reportedly happened on May 19, 2022, in Chester, a city in England. In the nine-second clip, we saw the groom taking a huge chunk of the cake in his hands and smothering the bride with it. The bride was completely shocked and tried to resist, but the cake finally ended up on her face!
While putting cake on people's faces is common on birthdays, it was quite unexpected to see this happening on a couple's wedding day. The internet was not impressed with the groom's gesture that seemed to be more forceful than sweet. "Feel sorry for the bride. From now I can say that he is not a good man," wrote one user while another said, "It looked like she started crying at the end!" A few others also said this was not adult-like behaviour at all and the groom actually ruined the bride's makeup and hair on her special day. "That's not even funny. The bride was humiliated at her happiest moment. What a spoiler that groom was," wrote one user.
