How to Make Air Fryer Doughnuts
1.
Take a large bowl, and add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk them together until they are combined well.
2.
Take another bowl, and put eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla extract. Whisk them together and add this mixture to the dry flour mixture. Mix them until just combined. Make sure not to over mix them.
3.
Sprinkle some flour on a clean, dry surface and roll out the doughnut dough. Flatten it so that it has a ½ inch thickness.
4.
Then take a doughnut cutter and cut out doughnut shapes from the dough. If you don’t have a doughnut cutter, use two differently-sized cookie cutters and make shapes.
5.
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Line the air fryer tray with parchment paper and gently place the doughnuts in the basket. Make sure not to crowd the air fryer basket and leave space between them.
6.
Air fry the donuts for 7-8 minutes. Keep an eye on them and flip them at regular intervals so that they bake and turn golden brown evenly.
7.
Once they are baked, keep them aside for cooling. In the meantime, prepare to glaze the doughnuts. In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract until it forms a smooth cream.
8.
After the doughnuts have cooled down, dip each of them into the glaze mix. Make sure they are evenly coated from all sides. Refrigerate them for 10-15 minutes so that the glaze is set on it. And voila! Your air fryer doughnuts are ready to serve!
