Ingredients of Ajwain And Turmeric Milk
- 2 cups milk
- ½ tsp ajwain (carom) seeds
- ½ tsp haldi (turmeric) powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp ghee
- ¼ tsp black pepper powder
How to Make Ajwain And Turmeric Milk

Dry roast the ajwain seeds on low flame for around 1-2 minutes, until it begins to change colour. Turn off the heat and set aside.

In a pot/saucepan, add milk, turmeric, pepper, jaggery and ghee. Mix and then bring the milk to a boil.

Lower the flame and allow the milk to simmer for a minute or so. Mix in the roasted ajwain seeds and then transfer the golden concoction into glasses/ mugs. (If you’re using honey to sweeten the drink, stir it in at this stage). Serve warm and enjoy!
