Ingredients of Christmas Pudding
- 150 gms boiling water
- 170 gms rum
- 240 gms black currants
- 185 gms black raisins
- 185 gms sultanas
- 150 gms prunes
- 200 gms figs
- 50 gms brown sugar
- 150 gms red cherries
- 250 gram butter
- 300 gms brown sugar
- 100 gms chocolate 72%
- 10 gms vanilla extract
- 150 gms dates, chopped
- 320 gms flour
- 20 gms cocoa powder
- 180 gms eggs
- 2 gram baking powder
- 2.5 gram cinnamon powder
- 2.5 garam masala
- 3 gram cardamom powder
How to Make Christmas Pudding

Combine the black currants, black raisins, sultanas, prunes, figs, brown sugar and rum in a mixing bowl. Stir well to mix, cover and leave for 24 hours to soak.

After 24 hours, mix the flour, dates, cocoa powder, baking powder, butter, spices and eggs along with the soaked fruit mixture in a large mixing bowl.

Grease pudding mould with butter. Pour the pudding mixture into the moulds.

Bake in a double boiler at 140 ℃ for 60 minutes.

Once the pudding is cooked, remove from the pan and set aside to cool.
6.
Cover with cling wrap to keep it soft.
