- 1 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Almond Milk
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup Hot Water
- 2 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 tbsp White Vinegar
- 8-10 Strawberries
How to Make Dairy-Free Chocolate Cake

Preheat your oven to 175°C. Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt until well combined.

In a separate bowl, combine the almond milk, vegetable oil, hot water, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing with a whisk or an electric mixer on low speed until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it out evenly.

Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
