This green tikka tenders recipe reimagines the classic dish and makes it much more desi. With ginger, garlic and dhaniya-pudina ruling the flavour profile in the recipe, the dish feels much closer to home and almost like an Indian version of the classic American chicken tenders.

Ingredients of Green Tikka Tenders
- 500 gms Chicken Strips
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup Chopped coriander and mint leaves
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 2-3 Green Chillies
- 1 tsp Dhaniya powder
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 1 tbsp Black pepper powder
- 1 cup Refined flour (maida)
- 1 Whole egg
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- Salt according to taste
How to Make Green Tikka Tenders

Add coriander and mint leaves, lime juice along with ginger garlic and all the dried spices into a blender. Add some water and prepare a fine paste.

In a bowl place all the chicken strips and marinate with the paste until evenly coated. Let this sit for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, in different bowls, prepare an egg wash by beating together an egg and milk.

Make a flour mix by mixing together flour with some salt and pepper.

In another bowl, add breadcrumbs, or crushed popcorn kernels or crushed plain potato chips for the final coating.

Once marinated, dip ever single chicken strip in the flour mix, the egg wash and finally the breadcrumbs respectively.
7.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken tenders until golden brown.
8.
Serve hot with a dip of your choice.
