Ingredients of Chicken Bread Cones

  • 500 Gram Chicken mince
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 Eggs (whisked)
  • 1/4 cup Cheese (for grating)
  • Bread slices (as required)
  • Oil (for frying)
  • Bread crumbs (as required)

First, mince the chicken in a mixer. Next, heat oil in a pan, add the chicken mince and let it cook for 5 mins while stirring it.

Add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, pepper and salt. Mix well.

Add chopped onion, cumin powder and mix well. Cook for 5 mins, add lemon juice and give it a final stir. Allow it to cool.

Now, take a bread slice, cut off it's edges and roll it thin. Put water on the sides of the bread and shape it like a cone.

Put the chicken filling inside the cone, top it with some grated cheese and stick the edges using water properly.

Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Whisk eggs in a bowl for egg wash and keep the bread crumbs ready.
7.
Once the oil is medium hot, dip the prepared cone in the whisked egg and roll it on the breadcrumbs.
8.
Dip it in the oil and let it cook until golden brown. Serve hot with some ketchup or chutney and enjoy!
