Ingredients of Homemade Chivda

  • 1 cup unsweetened corn flakes
  • 1 cup wheat flakes
  • 1 cup kurmura
  • 1 cup Bikaneri sev
  • 1/2 cup dried figs chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots chopped
  • 1 packet masala flavour potato chips
  • For the tadka:
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp hing
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1/3 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/3 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/3 tsp jeera powder
  • Amchoor powder for taste
  • 1 dried red chilli
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Black salt to taste

How to Make Homemade Chivda

1.
In a large bowl mix all the cereals, sev, kurmura, wafers.

Heat up the oil in a wok, add the tempering ingredients and fry for 30 seconds.
3.
Then add the cereal mix and toss well so that they are well coated with the Tadka.
4.
Serve it.

Note: You can add peanuts for taste.
