Peanut Sundal is like a peanut chaat loaded on south Indian flavours, from mustard and curry leaves and grated coconut, this dish is a popular teatime snack and is also used as Prasad during navratri.

Ingredients of Peanut Sundal
- 1 Cup Peanuts
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 8-10 Curry Leaves
- 1 tsp Grated Ginger
- A pinch of Asafoetida
- 2 tsp Grated Coconut
- Salt as required
How to Make Peanut Sundal

Soak the peanut in water for an hour. Cook this in a pressure cooker for not more than 2 whistles.

In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, once they crackle add asafoetida (Hing), curry leaves grated ginger and let it sauté for some time.

Now add the peanuts, salt and grated coconut and stir properly.

Serve hot and enjoy with tea or with a south Indian meal spread.
