Ingredients of Punjabi Tomato Chutney

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 green chillies
  • 4-5 cloves garlic
  • 2-3 tsp freshly chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt and black salt, as per taste
  • 1 tsp roasted jeera powder
  • 2 tsp mustard oil
  • One pinch sugar

How to Make Punjabi Tomato Chutney

Roast tomatoes, green chillies and garlic.

Deskin and chop the tomatoes.

Add green chilli, garlic, coriander leaves, and some salt in a mortar.

Grind everything with a pestle and transfer it to a bowl.

Next, pound the tomatoes well and transfer them to the same bowl.
6.
Add some mustard oil, black salt and sugar and mix well.
7.
Serve on the sides of paratha, roti-sabzi or rice.
